Hi my name is Tiffany and I am a foodie.  I am one of those annoying people that gets beyond excited when talking about food and coming up with new and unique ways to change the way things are prepared.  I take pictures of everything I cook, what others cook, and what I eat at restaurants.  This website is extremely dangerous and addicting.  It has thousands of great recipes and I could spend my whole day on this site.  Sure wish I could find a way to get paid for doing something like that, if any of you have any suggestions please let me know. = )

Sweet Treat - Chai Cupcakes

I came across this recipe on The Cake Mistress website.  Since I am a Chai Tea lover I saw this post and immediately wanted to make these.  I plan on making these very soon and will post some pictures when I do but this recipe was too good not to share until then. 

If you make this recipe before I do let me know how they come out.

What you will need:

• 1/4 cup instant Chai mixture (instant Chai powder available from supermarkets)
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 cup Caster Sugar
• 1/4 cup Milk
• 1 1/2 cup Self Raising Flour
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
• 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon Nutmeg

Toppings:

• 1/4 cup Raw sugar
• Cinnamon Sugar (mix in a little caster with the cinnamon)
• 12 star anise's

Mad Men Birthday

I know this post is a long time coming but to follow up with a previous post about the Mad Man themed birthday, the party was an absolute success.  We all enjoyed the evening full of 60's fashion, martini's, cigarettes (bubble gum kind), and it was great catching up with friends.  Here are some fun pictures from the evening and the great clothing that everyone was able to put together, most were amazing finds after spending sometime in vintage stores.
